The experience:

Today’s project leaders require a complex skill set that cannot be learned by simply reading a book or attending presentations. People learn best by doing, but on-the-job training can be too costly when project success is at risk.

Silega Project Master™ is a board-based program that simulates six months of a project. Participants must resolve different situations while competing to achieve maximum project value. Key success measures include satisfying top management’s requirements, integrating and motivating the project team, and thoroughly understanding customer requirements. Participants also have to optimize the assigned budget and stay within tight time limits.

The program simulates all stages of project management, from planning and defining scope to managing a budget, communication, people, quality, and metrics. Participants must deal with approaching deadlines, miscommunication, lack of resources, and external pressure.

The different teams compete to achieve maximum business value. In order to win this simulation they have to meet the established deadlines, maintain the required quality levels, and stay under budget.
